“Kaizer Chiefs’ supporters will emerge as proud
and therefore a significant vanguard of a property that they
can identify as their own. It is envisaged that this strategic
ownership will address challenging problems around stadium security,
maintenance and others when the Kaizer Chiefs supporter claims
its responsibility to ensure the prevention of such. We are hoping
that we shall set mechanisms and systems in place that will engage
our supporters to feel part of a significant growth in the history
of their association with the club. We are also working hard
to improve systems that will make us the first institution to
distribute annual and seasonal tickets to our loyal supporters.

It is important to note that the Amakhosi will remain a
trendsetter in football matters in this country. The Amakhosi
Stadium will
thus sustain that role and the legacy of a successful brand that
has now enhanced its value and prestige in becoming a significant
role player in the history of football in South Africa. I am
proud that our association with both the provincial government
and the local community of Mogale City will present an integrated
model for the future development of football facilities, its
administration and management as we envisage an era beyond 2010.” —
