Josta Dladla is targeting a spectacular finish to the Club’s Absa Premiership season as the Glamour Boys look at closing the gap between themselves and the leading pack.

The Glamour Boys are left with six games which is a possible 18 points, a point less than last season when they finished second.

The stylish midfielder who is admired by fans for his trickery on the pitch has won the league twice with his previous club, Mamelodi Sundowns and with more than 12 seasons in top flight football and playing in Europe he is equipped to discuss Club’s chances in winning the league this current season.

“We have to go all and win all our games. That is the best favour we can do for ourselves before we look at other teams dropping points. We need to go out and play our best football and have fun.

The league is no longer on our hands but it is important that we finish strongly whatever that may happen will be a bonus,” he told kaizerchiefs.com on Friday afternoon.

Chiefs’ no. 9 also looked back to the 2011/2012 season; “We did not really have a bad season and we started extremely well. We were always second or third and it is only when we lost against Free State Stars (Nedbank Cup) and against Maritzburg United in the league that our season appeared as if we had not done well. It shows sometimes how one game can change things around.

“The most important thing now though is to have a flawless finish to the campaign and take the momentum to next season. We have Santos coming up this weekend who are not going to make things easy for us but we have to go out and show character and play for the pride.

Josta has been in and out of the team this season; “Personally it has been disappointing and I am not quite sure what happened because I had a good start and then I was in and out of the team but when you are a professional you have to get on with the job and I did that supporting my teammates who were playing.
