Metrorail train service for Carling Black Label Cup
Friday, July 27, 2012

Metrorail, a service of PRASA, will provide a special train service to the Carling Black Label Cup game between the two Soweto giants Orlando Pirates vs. Kaizer Chiefs. The night game is scheduled for this coming Saturday, 28 July 2012, at Soccer City with the kick off at 19:30.

As fans are expected to come out in their numbers to support their favourite teams, Metrorail will be there to provide a reliable, safe and hassle free transportation. This special service will cost only R20.00 for a return trip per person with free parking at the identified stations. Train tickets can be purchased at stations where the special trains stop, from Thursday 26 July 2012 onwards.

Fans are advised to arrive at the stations at least 30 minutes prior to departure of their train. 3 special trains will be operating on the day from: Vereeniging, Springs and Pretoria to Nasrec Station (which is a five minute walk to the stadium). Additionally, a shuttle train service will also operate between Johannesburg (Park Station) and Nasrec as below. The 2 trains from Pretoria and Springs will also run via Johannesburg Park station.
