Goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma, midfielder Dumsani Zuma and striker Ryan Moon have been named into Stuart Baxter’s Bafana Bafana squad to face Zambia in the 2018 African Nations Championship (Chan) qualifiers.

The first leg clash of this final round to qualify will be held in South Africa on Saturday, 12 August 2017. The venue will be announced soon.

The return leg will be played in Zambia on the weekend of 18, 19, 20 August 2017.

The Chan tournament will take place in Kenya from 11 January to 2 February 2018.

The Chiefs goalkeeper was part of South Africa’s Cosafa Castle Cup squad, but he wasn’t selected for the two recent Chan qualifying matches against Botswana. Bvuma takes the place of Khulekani Kubheka.

Moon played in both Chan qualifiers, scoring one goal in each game against Botswana.

Zuma was signed from Bloemfontein Celtic last week. He was also part of South Africa’s squad that faced Botswana.
