Chiefs get the SuperZone treatment

Don't miss the M-Web SuperZone Show on Wednesday night as soccer, and in particular the newly interactive Kaizer Chiefs, comes into the spotlight with guest Kenny Niemach.

As the Castle Premiership season gets into full swing, the show will be highlighting a feast of soccer information and focusing on what has become, even before the official launch, the biggest team website on the continent: www.kaizerchiefs.com.

The in-studio guest, Kenny Niemach, will be giving his views on his explosive opening period as a Chiefs player - he scored the winning goal in their 1-0 BP Top Eight semifinal victory over Orlando Pirates - after his arrival had been kept a closely guarded secret.

He may also point out, though, that he feels he hasn't been entirely welcomed by Amakhosi's passionate followers, despite the goal mentioned and his excellent performance in the come-from-behind 3-1 win over Manning Rangers in the Coca-Cola Cup quarterfinals recently.

Those fans, of course, have the forum they need to air their feelings at the Chiefs site, with the interactive board having already become a lively and heated discussion forum.

So go and check out the site and then e-mail your thoughts to Kenny and presenters Peter Davies and Thomas Mlambo at mwebzone@supersport.co.za.

And finally, don't forget to participate in the weekly poll that gets initiated on the show. This week's question focuses on when you think South Africa will be ready to host the Soccer World Cup.

Give us your view by going to www.supersport.co.za (or scroll down to the bottom right of this page), or, if you're lucky, you can let Fanie de Villiers know personally what you think. He'll be at the Small Street mall in downtown Johannesburg this afternoon, so pass a few thoughts on to one of SA's best-loved sports personalities.

So get into the Zone at 8:30pm on Wednesday night on SS1/CSN.
