Kaizer Chiefs defender Gary Goldstone is likely to miss the Mandela Cup final second leg against InterClube of Angola at Ellis Park on Saturday.

The Amakhosi star was hospitalized for two days after suffering an infection on the return from Angola. "He is still very weak and even if he plays, he might not last for the entire match," said Amakhosi team physiotherapist David Milner.

Musa Mtakwenda is also struggling with a hamstring injury and will only start training next week.

Patrick Mbuthu, who collected his second yellow card in the Mandela Cup in Angola, is also battling with an ankle injury and according to Milner, he could be out for 10 days.

Good news, however, is that striker Daniel Matsau will start training in six weeks.
