Returning from injuries

Itumeleng Khune

Ahead of their trip to Nelspruit for the Telkom Knockout Cup on the weekend, Itumeleng Khune is medically fit and has joined the team in full training. Khune has been recovering from a groin injury he picked up in the game against Baroka FC in September.

Kearyn Baccus

Also making a welcome return from an ankle injury is Kearyn Baccus. The midfield maestro was on fine form before getting injured in Telkom Knockout Cup Round of 16 match against Cape Town City in October.

Nkosingiphile Ngcobo

It is a matter of time before we see Nkosingiphile Ngcobo back in contention for his places in the team. The youngster has made a steady progress through the Reserves league matches, playing ninety minutes in the Multichoice Diski Challenge Soweto Derby last Saturday. Ngcobo raptured Achilles Tendon in March in a game against SuperSport United.

Returning from International Duty

International players, Khama Billiat, Lazalous Kambole, Daniel Akpeyi, Mulomowandau Mathoho and Lebogang Manyama all returned to the Club after participating in the Afcon qualifiers during the FIFA International Break.

On International Duty

Meanwhile, Happy Mashiane and Siyabonga Ngezana are with the South African Under 23 National Team participating in the U-23 AFCON in Egypt and will not be available for selection in Mbombela.

Suspensions

Akpeyi, Mathoho and Willard Katsande are ruled of Mbombela trip due to suspension.

The Telkom Knockout Cup semifinal against Maritzburg United is billed to take place on Sunday, 24th November at Mbombela Stadium, kicking off at 15:00.
