Kaizer Chiefs Reserves were held to a 1-all draw when they hosted Baroka FC Reserves. Fresh from another 1-all drawn match against Stellenbosch FC Reserves in their previous match, Chiefs were looking for a positive result from this one.

The match was played on Saturday, 2nd November in Dobsonville, Soweto.

Baroka were first to take aim at Chiefs with their goal coming from Makgoba in the 15th minute of the pulsating Multichoice Diski Challenge match. Playing at home at the Dobsonville Stadium, Amakhosi were not deterred by the visitors’ early lead.

Coach Arthur Zwane reacted promptly bringing on Nkosingiphile Ngcobo for DÁngelo Taai in the 29th minute. Immediately Chiefs began to play, and orchestrating moves forward.

They went on full swing attack forcing Baroka to concede a penalty in the 32nd minute. Captain fantastic Sabelo Radebe stepped up to coolie slot home.

1-1 at half time.

Zwane searching for a winner rang the changes. Rahim Milazi made way for Yaseen Bunting in the 49th and Khumbulani Ngcube was replaced by Samkelo Zwane.

The draw tip toes Chiefs a notch up to seventh place on the log.
