Chiefs are in KwaZulu-Natal this afternoon to face Richards Bay FC in a top five clash in the DStv Premiership. The match will takes place at King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, south of Durban.

The game is the second league meeting between the two teams this season. Chiefs won the first round match 1-0 back in August at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Amakhosi come into the game with their tails up after winning their last encounter against Orlando Pirates last weekend. Richards Bay, on the other hand, lost their last game against Stellenbosch by 2-1.

On the log, Richards Bay and Chiefs are in position 4 and 5 respectively, with 31 points each after 21 matches. The hosts have a superior goal difference.

As it has been the story of this season for Chiefs, the team has lost another player to injury this week with Ashley Du Preez ruled out for this afternoon’s clash. The speedy attacker’s place will be taken by Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana in the line-up.

Apart from that enforced change, coach Arthur Zwane has kept faith with the team that did the job against Pirates in the Soweto Derby last weekend.

With the introduction of another striker, Bimenyimana, Chiefs will still keep to their 4-5-1 formation this afternoon.

Brandon Petersen is the goalkeeper.

S’fiso Hlanti is at left-back. Zitha Kwinika partners last weekend’s man-of-the-match, Edmilson Dove at centre-back. On the right of defence will be Siyabonga Ngezana.

Siyethemba Sithebe and Yusuf Maart continue in midfield.

The exciting Mduduzi Shabalala plays on the left wing and Keagan Dolly will be on right flank.

Bimenyimana will operate behind Christian Saile Basomboli, who leads Amakhosi’s attack this afternoon.

Dolly will don the captain’s armband

The referee for this exciting clash is Masixole Bambiso. His assistants are Sandile Dilikane and Athenkosi Ndongeni. The fourth official is Thokozani Mkhize.

Glamour Boys and the Natal Rich Boys will kick off at 15:30 at Kind Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi. The DStv Premiership match will be live on SuperSport’s PSL Channel 202 on DStv, SABC 1 and various SABC radio stations - with regular updates of the match on Twitter @KaizerChiefs.
