After his great exploits in last weekend’s Shell Helix Cup, coach Ernst Middendorp has decided to start with Leonardo in this afternoon’s Telkom Knockout against Cape Town City. The Colombian striker scored three goals and provided an assist in the 4-2 thriller.

Castro will lead the attack with support from attacking midfielders Khama Billiat and Lebogang Manyama.

In Midfield, this afternoon’s captain Willard Katsande will be joined by Kearyn Baccus and Bernard Parker.

In defence Amakhosi have Reeve Frosler on the right, Yagan Sasman on the left and the solid pair of Mulomowandau Mathoho and Daniel Cardoso in central defence.

Nigerian keeper Daniel Akpeyi keeps his position as the goalkeeper.

Samir Nurković and George Maluleka have recovered from injury and will start on the bench.

This afternoon’s Telkom Knockout last 16 match between Amakhosi and the Citizens will be played at the Cape Town Stadium in the Mother City. Kick-off is at 15:00.
