Chiefs face Chippa behind closed doors

Kaizer Chiefs will this Saturday, 10 November, welcome Chippa United at home-away-from-home at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The match is scheduled to be played behind ‘Closed Doors’ in accordance with the ruling of the Premier Soccer League’s disciplinary committee following the fan violence that marred Amakhosi’s Nedbank Cup semi-final defeat to Free State Stars at Moses Mabhida Stadium in April.

This fixture is a must-win for coach Giovanni Solanis and his troops to stay in the hunt for the Absa Premiership tittle.

Chiefs are presently in fourth spot in the chasing pack with 17 points, a five-points deficit to log leaders Orlando Pirates from the same number of 12 games played. Chippa occupy 13th position, having eight points from nine matches.

We ask all supporters – please don’t come to the stadium as no tickets will be sold as the game is behind closed doors. The match will, however, be shown live at the DStv channel, SuperSport. Kick-off is at 18:00.
