With three defensive players suspended, coach Ernst Middendorp has had to make changes in defence for this afternoon’s Telkom Knockout semifnal clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Maritzburg United.

Bruce Bvuma is the goalkeeper. He comes on for the suspended Daniel Akpeyi, who has collected four yellow cards.

Reeve Frosler retains his place on the right. Our central defence partnership will see Yagan Sasman slotting in for Mulomowandau Mathoho. He will partner Daniel Cardoso. Njabulo Blom will join the defending team at right back.

In midfield Amakhosi are delighted to welcome Kearyn Baccus back after his injury. He will work with George Maluleka and Bernard Parker.

Leornado Castro is in attack. He will be joined by Samir Nurković and Lebogang Manyama.

Khama Billiat will miss this afternoon’s clash as he is receiving treatment for a tight hamstring after playing two matches for his national team in the last week

This afternoon’s match officials are referee Luxolo Badi, assistants are Elphas Sitole and Kenny Mamegwa. Sandile Dilikane is the fourth official.
