Chiefs introduce Blom and make 3 changes against Arrows

Kaizer Chiefs supporters will see a slightly changed team this evening as Amakhosi take on Lamontville Golden Arrows in the Absa Premiership.

Three players who started Saturday’s match are out with various injuries. They are Itumeleng Khune, Reeve Frosler and George Maluleka.

The Amakhosi faithful will get to see another product of the Kaizer Chiefs Youth Academy when Njabulo Blom makes his senior team debut this evening.

When compared with the team that started on Saturday against Baroka, coach Ernst Middendorp has made a total of three changes to the team that will face Arrows this evening. Khune will be replaced Daniel Akpeyi, Blom will take Frosler’s place and Willard Katsande comes on for Maluleka.

Saturday’s Man of the Match Apkeyi will take his place between the posts. His defence will be Yagan Sasman, Mulomowandawu Mathoho, Daniel Cardoso and Blom.

Midfielders are Katsande, Kearyn Baccus and Bernard Parker.

Upfront Chiefs will have Lazalous Kambole supported by Saturday’s goal scorer Lebogang Manyama and Khama Billiat.

Willard Katsande will carry the captain’s armband.

This evening’s Absa Premiership match between Amakhosi and Abafana Besithende will kick off is at 19:30 at FNB Stadium.

Our match officials are referee Olani Kwinda, assistants Sandile Dilikane and Kgara Mokoena. The fourth official will be Kamohelo Ramutsindela.
