Chiefs Reserves gained a point when they played to a 2-all drawn match against AmaZulu in Ulundi on Sunday in a MultiChoice Diski Challenge fixture on Sunday.

Prince Mangosuthu Stadium in Ulundi was treated to an It’s Massive Festival over the weekend. Chiefs and AmaZulu Reserves brought down the curtain with an entertaining draw.

Chiefs Reserves were first to pull the trigger, with Rahim Milazi scoring from the spot kick in the 11th minute. It was all square in the 33rd, Lindokuhle Zungu pulling one back for the home side.

Half time score was 1-1.

A second penalty was awarded to AmaZulu - Bayanda Shangase stepped up to give Usuthu the lead, 2-1 in the 61st minute of the game. Milazi struck again to restore parity scoring a brace of goals and recording his 9th goal of the season.

Coach Arthur Zwane emptied the cartridge of all his substitutions in 67TH, Sabelo Radebe made way for Kamohelo Hoala, Tshepo Myeni replaced by Tshepo Mohlala in the 71st and goal scorer Milazi pulled off for D’Angelo Taai in the 79th.

Chiefs dropped a notch to 9th on the Multichoice Diski Log table.

SuperSport TV stats showed Chiefs Reserves attempted to score on 13 occasions. Eight of the attempts were on target. AmaZulu had a marginal upper hand on ball possession with most of the possession concentrated on the middle of the park.
