Operation Vat Alles continued off the field on Tuesday as Kaizer Chiefs announced their partnership with British Airways Comair who will now become the official airline supplier for domestic flights.

"Today marks yet another historic moment in the history of the club as we welcome on board our new partners British Airways Comair who will be our official domestic airline supplier," said Kaizer Chiefs MD Kaizer Motaung.

"“Our endeavour to globalise our brand is going to be a long and difficult one and we need business partners like the BA Comair to achieve this objective. Our relationship with BA Comair has a cash value of R500 000 per annum plus other valuable services in kind,” he said.

"We cannot compare the value of our relationship with BA Comair to our previous partners, as the two are miles apart. It is in fact a huge relief for us considering that we spent almost R1.8 million per annum on flights.”

BA Comair MD Piet van Hoven said his company was privileged to be associated with SA soccer giants Kaizer Chiefs. "This agreement is a further step in the realisation of our sporting position within South Africa," said Van Hoven.

"Not only are we proud to be associated with the Springboks and four of SA’s major rugby unions but we are extremely pleased aboard the mighty force in Africa, Kaizer Chiefs," he said.

BA Comair has for the third consecutive year been voted the best domestic airline because of their passion for customer service that drives every employee, every day on every flight.

Amakhosi supporters will in the long run benefit from this deal through discounted flights.
