Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has announced his preliminary squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.

Kaizer Chiefs are represented in the squad by goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma and defenders Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Daniel Cardoso.

The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations will be hosted in Egypt – 24 teams will take part from 21 June to 19 July. Six venues will be used in four host cities.

Bafana Bafana are in Group D with Morocco, Ivory Coast and Namibia.

Baxter still has to trim down his squad to 23. The final squad must be submitted 10 days before the start of the tournament.

Bafana Bafana are due to leave for Egypt on 12 June.
