Kaizer Chiefs beat Platinum Stars 1-0 on the road last week. However, the suspensions of Willard Katsande and Joseph ‘Tight’ Molangoane resulted in coach Steve Komphela having to makes changes to the starting line-up for tonight’s fixture against Ajax Cape Town.

The talented young Wiseman Meyiwa comes in for Katsande, while Kgotso Moleko replaces ‘Tight’.

Meanwhile, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Hendrick Ekstein and Bernard Parker return to the starting XI, replacing respectively Bhongolethu Jayiya, Dumsani Zuma and Gustavo Páez, who started in the match against Platinum Stars.

Ramahlwe Mphahlele makes a welcome return to the bench, after having been absent for a long time due to injury.

Kaizer Chiefs host Ajax Cape Town at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday evening (kick-off is at 20:15).

The referee for this encounter is Victor Hlungwani.
