Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has decided to field an unchanged side in tonight’s fixture against Cape Town City. The team is similar to the one that played against SuperSport United three days ago.
The only change on the bench sees newly signed Yagan Sasman replace Lorenzo Gordinho on the bench. The player missed the last few matches due to a red card he received last season while at Ajax Cape Town.
Coach Middendorp will for the third game in a row start with Daniel Akpeyi in goal. He will have the same team back four of Reeve Frosler on the right, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya on the left, Mulomowandau Mathoho and Daniel Cardoso in central defence.
George Maluleka and Bernard Parker will be in midfield with Lebogang Manyama in front of them. Khama Billiat will attack from the left and Lazalous Kambole will play on the right.
The target man is Samir Nurković, who scored his first goal for Amakhosi on Saturday.
Bernard Parker will captain his side.
This evening’s Absa Premiership match between Chiefs and City will be played at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town. Kick-off is at 19:30.
