Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has announced the squad that will play in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match against Libya. The match will be played in Tunisia on 24 March.

Baxter has included Kaizer Chiefs duo of goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma and defender Daniel Cardoso in his final squad.

The final round of the qualifiers taking place during the FIFA week of 17-27 March, sees another Amakhosi pair of Teenage Hadebe and Khama Billiat in the squad that will represent Zimbabwe. Likewise, goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi will represent already qualified Nigeria, while another goalkeeper Virgil Vries is called up to do duty for Namibia.

Bafana Bafana need to avoid a defeat in order to qualify for the continental competition set to take place in Egypt in June 2019.

Meanwhile, SA Under-23 coach David Notoane has also announced his first squad as the coach of the Amaglug-glug. He named Kaizer Chiefs defenders Siyabonga Ngezana and Reeve Frosler to play in Under-23 Olympic qualifiers starting with their outing against Angola on 22 March.

It has been a busy time for national duty at Naturena considering recently with Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Njabulo Blom featuring in the SA Under-20 Team that qualified for FIFA Under-20 World Cup scheduled for Poland in May 2019.
