There is some good news coming out of the Amakhosi camp with the return to training of Ramahlwe ‘Rama’ Mphahlele and Kgotso Moleko.

Both fullbacks were out for a lengthy spell due to a knee injury, respectively sustained in September and October.

Kaizer Chiefs will still play three league games before the end of 2017. First up are Chippa United on Wednesday, 6 December. The Port Elizabeth outing will be followed by a trip to North West Province to face Platinum Stars on Saturday, 9 December.

The last game of the year will be a tantalising ‘home-away-from-home’ fixture against Ajax Cape Town. This much awaited match is scheduled to take place at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on Reconciliation Day, Saturday 16 December.

Meanwhile, the recovery from an assortment of injuries for Tsepo Masilela (ankle), Ryan Moon (jaw) and Emmanuel Letlotlo (knee) continues under the watchful eye of the medical team.

Philani Zulu has briefly joined the injury list, but he’s expected to be ready for the next fixture. The left-back picked up a muscle strain in the one-all draw against Free State Stars last Saturday.
