Midfielder Gerald Sibeko was offered a three-year contract that will see the former School of Excellence and Kaizer Chiefs Development star extend his stay at Naturena.

His initial contract ran out at the end of July and his agent Steven Kapeluschnik from Stellar Africa set the negotiations in motions.

"This is a mutually beneficial deal for both the player and club,” said Kapeluschnik. “Our negotiations with Bobby (Motaung) and Abdullah (Mayet) went very well and the two gentlemen were exceptionally professional.”

"Gerald has been our player from development and it was a sensible thing for him to renew the contract,” said team manager Bobby Motaung. “The boy is still young and we have great plans for him.”

Meanwhile, Kapeluschnik disclosed that former Chiefs nippy striker Daniel Matsau was now training with Hellenic. Matsau was offloaded to PSL newcomers Dynamos but the deal did not suit the player, who hopes to secure a deal with the Greek Gods.
