Congratulations to Freddy Tshikala who wins himself a stylish Kaizer Chiefs t-shirt for a great good luck message against Al Ahly in the Super Cup.

The result was not as expected but thanks to all those who sent messages. The team and everyone at Kaizer Chiefs really enjoyed reading the letters.

From South Africa with Love

It was December 1984 the stadium was Orlando Stadium. I was just a little brother who came to visit his brother who was working in Johannesburg. Kaizer Chiefs was playing Wits University and the final score was 5 - 0 if not 5 - 1.

In the Kaizer Chiefs line up they had Jimmy Joubert, Peta Balac, Teenage Dladla, Samora Khulu and others I cannot remember.

That was my first game ever to watch Kaizer Chiefs live at the stadium. I was eight years old then, now I am 25 years. That was the time when soccer was called football.

Since then I ate, drank and even slept Kaizer Chiefs. I went to their offices when I moved to Johannesburg in 1994.I met Kaizer Motaung in his office after we beat Orlando Pirates in Decmber with Tshisevhe scoring a sole goal by header at night at FNB.

I was there when we won the second Rothmans Cup. I was there when we won the BP TOP 8 this year against Sundowns, I was there on the 11th of April 2001 in Ellis Park. I was in many games which if I mention I will run out of space.

I use to eat Super Sun Maize Meal and now that we are sponsored by Iwisa I have gone back home {literally eating Chiefs}. I came to the University and the way I love this team we have started a supporters branch, but why am I telling you all these?

Not because I want you guys to know me but I want you to know that when you do what you do you affect the lives of ordinary people like me.

I also want to highlight and bring you closer to the people who scream and shout for you and encourage you when you win even when you loose. I am just only one of them. Al Ahly only have few thousands supporters, but you guys have million of supporters and these are supporters who feel like me.

These are supporters who have prayers for you. These are supporters who will seat in front of their Television tomorrow 15th March and be with you. Why am I telling all the stories about me and all that rubbish?

I want you to know that there are millions of people out there who feel like and whose stories are not told and these are the people whom you bring joy to.

These are people who talk about Kaizer Chiefs like they are talking about the car they have personally designed.

I don't want to tell you what to do in the field of play since you are in the capable hands of Prof Muhsin. I don't even want to wish you luck because it will look like I am undermining your strength. I just want you guys to know that I am proud to be your supporter and I am proud to be Amakhosi 4 Life.

We love you and you must know that we are with you all the way. In our prayers, in our thoughts and even when we go to sleep.

With Love and Peace Just Do It

Love
