Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas has decided to change the starting XI quite a bit compared to the last game before the FIFA international against Polokwane City.

Virgil Vries replaces Itumeleng Khune for this Telkom Knockout Last 16 clash in goal, while, Hendrick Ekstein, Philani Zulu, Bernard Parker, Erick Mathoho and Gustavo Páez also all start.

Willard Katsande, who was on the bench for the Polokwane City match, returns to the starting line-up and will be wearing the captain’s armband in the absence of Khune.

Khama Billiat has been given a break after returning with a slight back injury from international duty with Zimbabwe.

Others out injured are Leonardo Castro (recovering from an ankle injury), Lebogang Manyama (injury sustained during a car crash earlier this week) and Joseph Molangoane, who is still recovering from his leg fracture.

Chiefs will host Black Leopards for a Telkom Knockout Last 16 encounter at FNB Stadium on Sunday afternoon, 21 October 2018 (kick-off is at 15:30).

The referee is Thando Ndzandzeka.
