Nike football kits launched over the years have served to inspire the new generation of Kaizer Chiefs and it has also been created to give players the very latest Nike innovations in fabric construction, performance technology, moisture management and environmental sustainability. Innovation like Nike’s Dri-FIT Technology in the kit draws sweat away from the body to the exterior of the shirts and shorts, where it quickly evaporates.  This allows for players to perform at their best while remaining cooler, drier and more comfortable.

Nike leverages sustainable innovation for its football kits through the use of recycled polyester, delivering unrivaled performance and lower environmental impact. The current kit’s shirt and shorts are constructed with recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles melted down to produce a fine year.  Each kit is made using approximately 16 recycled plastic bottles.
