Jimmy Ranalema enters the Kaizer Chiefs retail shop at the Village determined. He has his mind firmly fixed on two things – buying the 2017/2018 Home and Away jerseys. “Especially the Away jersey is a beauty,” he enthuses. “I love those gold stripes.”
The all black Away jersey has narrow gold stripes on the front and back of the bodice, with a gold round neck collar.
To give supporters the chance to buy the new kit, the KC Retail stores at the Village and Pretoria’s Tramshed will be open longer today, Saturday, from 9:00 to 15:00.
The Kaizer Chiefs kiosk will also be present at today’s Maize Cup where all the new merchandise, including the Home and Away kits, will be available.
Jimmy lives in Heidelberg. However, he had some spare time and therefore decided to visit the Chiefs Village on Friday, buying both the Home and Away jerseys.
“The Home jersey is also very nice,” Jimmy says, “much better than last year’s jersey. It’s so gold. It looks great.”
He’s a long-time supporter of the Glamour Boys. His favourite player of the present squad is Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala. “Shabba is so committed. He is simply fantastic.”
Kaizer Chiefs’ new 2017/2018 Home and Away kits were launched on Thursday. They have been on sale since Friday at the club’s retail stores at Chiefs Village and Pretoria’s Tramshed. Supporters who can’t come to one of our shops can buy the new jersey online, www.kcdigistore.com
