Head Coach, Stuart Baxter has expressed his delight after finishing his two match ban and will be back on the bench when Amakhosi meet SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup Final on Saturday, 25 May 2013 (15:00).

The well-travelled mentor was forced to watch the past two games from the VIP suite leaving his no.2, Doctor Khumalo in charge.

He admitted speaking to kaizerchiefs.com that it was a ‘nightmare’ watching the games in the suites; “I have already apologised for my actions that led to the dismissal. It was extremely difficult to watch the team up in the suites. It was like I was being stabbed for the entire 90 minutes. I am delighted to be back where I belong this coming weekend.

Baxter was not pleased with the way his charges played in the past two games; “We always play to win and the approach was no different in the last couple of days. It is satisfying to have won the championship but we cannot be pleased with the performance in the last six games or so.

“I do feel though it is not only Kaizer Chiefs in this enigma; one has to look at Platinum Stars for instance when they had a chance to close the gap only to draw against Chippa United at home and then lose away to Golden Arrows. Orlando Pirates also had the same challenge when they drew a lot of games.

“It is important that we rectify this going to the final this coming Saturday,” added Stuart Baxter who will also be coaching in his first domestic final since joining the Glamour Boys this season.
