Kaizer Chiefs Football Club has parted ways with Mr Walter Steenbok. He was in charge of the Scouting Department, overseeing the research, analysis and recruitment component of the Club.

Steenbok has been accepted to do his PhD in Sports Science by the University of Johannesburg and has requested the Club to release him from his duties in order for him to pursue his studies and other possibilities in football.

“I would like to thank the Executive Chairman Kaizer Motaung, the Board and Football Manager Bobby Motaung for the opportunity to grow and work within the biggest institution in football. Good luck to the entire Chiefs family,” said Steenbok.

Kaizer Chiefs wishes Mr Steenbok all of the best in future endeavours.
