Kaizer Chiefs medical department’s injury update indicates that tough-tackling midfielder Willard Katsande has hurt the ligament in the inner part of his knee.
Katsande got hurt in the 75th minute of the pulsating victory over arch-rivals Orlando Pirates on Saturday, 29 February. He was replaced by Kenyan International, Akumu Agay.
“Katsande is currently in a brace,” confirms the club’s physiotherapist Dave Milner. “He had a scan and will see the specialist this week to determine the extent of the injury.”
Amakhosi are scheduled to host AmaZulu this Saturday, 7 March at FNB Stadium for a 20:15 kick-off.
