Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma will make his national team debut when Bafana Bafana face Botswana in the Cosafa Castle Cup plate semi-final this afternoon.

Bvuma caught the eye after showing his skills for Amakhosi in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge and also showed glimpses of his brilliance during his two appearances for Amakhosi’s first team.

Bafana Bafana went into the Cosafa tournament as seeded, but were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Tanzania in the quarterfinals played on Sunday. Bvuma watched the proceedings from the bench, while his club teammate Lorenzo Gordinho played the full 90 minutes in that loss.

The match between South Africa and Botswana will be played at Moruleng Stadium this afternoon, Tuesday, 4 July 2017.

Kick-off is at 17:00 and entry is free.
