Kaizer Chiefs Reserves got the better of Bidvest Wits Reserves in a pulsating thrill-a-minute Multichoice Diski Challenge game on Sunday.

The match produced end-to-end display of fine football resulting in a goal feast at the Dobsonville Stadium.

4-3 it ended in favour of coach Arthur Zwane and his troops.

Log leaders Wits Reserves opened the scoring in the 18th minute from Sinenjongo Mkiva. Chiefs Reserves resorted to an all-out attack in search of an immediate response but against the run of play referee Kamohelo Molutsi awarded Wits a penalty. Rowan Human slotted from the spot to give Wits a 2-0 lead.

On form midfield maestro Nkosingiphile Ngcobo pulled one back for Chiefs in the 38th minute before Lebohang Lesako equalised in the 43rd minute. Score at half time 2-2.

It was no surprise when in the 65th minute Chiefs, again through Ngcobo made it 3-2.

Zwane rang changes starting in the 77th minute replacing Keletso Sifama with Sibusiso Milazi. In the 87th minute Lesako made way for Mthokozisi  Balakazi. Just when Chiefs thought three points were in the bag, Mkiva stroke again for his brace to make it 3-3 at the death.

Referee added five minutes to his clock.

With the crowd making their way out of the Dobsonville Stadium, Milazi fought his way through a maize of Wits rear guard to close the argument with an individual brilliance of a goal, 4-3 to Chiefs.

Chiefs reserves moved to 7th with four games remaining in the Multichoice Diski Challenge fixtures.

Chippa United Reserves will be next in the firing line of Kaizer Chiefs Reserves.
