Kaizer Chiefs’ demanding schedule continues as the team shifts focus from their CAF Confederation Cup clash with ZESCO United on Sunday to the Nedbank Cup. Amakhosi will travel to Cape Town to face Stellenbosch in the Round of 32 of this season’s competition.

Having lifted the Nedbank Cup trophy last year, Chiefs are determined to defend their title when they kick off this year’s campaign on Wednesday.

The two sides have already met twice this season - once in the league and once in the Carling Knockout Cup. This Nedbank Cup fixture will mark their third encounter, with a fourth meeting scheduled for 24 February in the Betway Premiership.

Chiefs enter the tie on a strong run of form on both the domestic and continental fronts, having registered four consecutive victories in 2026.
