It will be back to the league marathon when Kaizer Chiefs will take the N1 North to Limpopo Province to face Polokwane City on Saturday afternoon, 23 February.

This Absa Premiership match will be played at Polokwane’s New Peter Mokaba Stadium. Kick-off is at 15:30.

Buoyant by their progress to the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup, after a hard fought 3-0 victory over The Magic FC, Amakhosi will look at City to climb up the log table.

The Glamour Boys are trailing log leaders Bidvest Wits by nine points with ten matches to go and that is enough to keep them focussed on earning maximum points against an unpredictable Rise & Shine side.

The last time Chiefs met City was behind closed doors at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on 18 October 2018 in which we suffered a 1-0 defeat.

The two teams go head to head, separated by one point on the log. Amakhosi are in seventh place and City are in eighth position.

Tickets for the game are sold at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide for R40 and at the stadium’s ticket-office for R50.
