Kaizer Chiefs will travel to Durban this weekend to play their 19th Absa Premiership match of the season against Golden Arrows. Amakhosi head to KwaZulu Natal with a seven-point lead on top of the Absa Premiership log table.

The much-anticipated match is scheduled to take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 25th January, kicking off at 15:30.

Both Amakhosi and Abafana Bes’thende played to 1-1 draws in their respective away matches on weekend. Chiefs secured their valuable away point on Saturday at Black Leopards courtesy of Samir Nurković’s header. Arrows bagged theirs on Sunday in their away match against Polokwane City.

Eighteen points separate the two teams on the log. Chiefs have 42 points, while   Arrows have collected 24.  Both teams have played 18 league games this season.

The last time the two met was in October and Chiefs conquered Arrows by a 2-0 score-line. Daniel Cardoso’s calmly taken spot kick and under-pressure Nkosinathi Sibisi’s own goal were enough to secure Amakhosi the three points.

Tickets are sold for R40 via www.ticketpros.co.za , Edgars, CNA, Jet and SPAR outlets nationwide.
