Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Doctor Khumalo made a surprise return to South Africa's national squad to play Malawi in a World Cup qualifier in Durban next Sunday, July 15.



Coach Carlos Queiroz went for home-flavour in his selection which led to Khumalo, who last played for the Bafana Bafana in the Caribbean 1999.
