Eight Players return to starting XI for Soweto Derby

After making eight changes to his team on Wednesday against Chippa United, coach Ernst Middendorp has brought back most of the players to face Orlando Pirates this afternoon in the Absa Premiership match.

Amakhosi faced the Buccaneers last Saturday at Moses Mabhida Stadium in the Telkom Knocknock. He  decided to resta number of the players in preparation for this afternoon’s Soweto Derby.

Daniel Akpeyi will be back in goals for Amakhosi.

After missing a few games due injury, Reeve Frosler will be at right back. He is joined in defence by Daniel Cardoso, Mulomowandau Mathoho and Yagan Sasman.

Wednesday’s man of the match and captain Willard Katsande is in midfield with George Maluleka and Lebogang Manyama.

Leornado Castro will lead the attack again with Samir Nurković and Khama Billiat.

Referee is Thando Ndzandzeka. His assistants are Sandile Dilikane and Sibusiso Sisilana. The fourth official is Victor Hlungwani
