Kaizer Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung says the league game against Orlando Pirates on Saturday will be emotional, as it will remind us of those who lost their lives on April 11 at Ellis Park.

It is important to note that as we are faced with this derby on Saturday, apart from the fact that it brings back the rivalry that exists between the two clubs over the decades.

It also brings back to us memories of those we lost on April 11 at Ellis Park.

As we lock horns with Orlando Pirates on Saturday we will be thinking about those we lost and also the families that are left behind. Hence we will be releasing 43 white doves before kick-off as a symbol of our quest for piece between the affected families and us. Every game we play we play for them.

We have been interacting with the families but it’s an ongoing process. You can never say it’s enough.
