Coach Steve Komphela has decided to start with new signing Leonardo Castro for the first time in a competitive match. Kaizer Chiefs host Golden Arrows in a Nedbank Cup Last 32 clash at FNB Stadium this Sunday afternoon.

The Colombian striker did come on as substitute in three recent league games, scoring once, but hasn’t started as yet since joining Amakhosi from Mamelodi Sundown during the January transfer window.

Another new signing who will make his first start is Siphelele Ntshangase, replacing Siphiwe Tshabalala, who will start on the bench.

Ramahlwe Mphahlele, meanwhile, returns to the starting XI for the first time since having recovered from injury, while Wiseman Meyiwa comes in for the injured George Maluleka, who is suffering from a slight calf strain.

Two others players out injured are Dumsani Zuma (groin) and Gustavo Páez (hamstring), while Bernard Parker has been declared fit again after suffering from an ankle injury. The striker will start on the bench though.

The clash between Chiefs and Arrows will kick-off at 15:30.
