With the pre-season for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign already underway with the team over in the Netherlands for their training camp and preparation, we revisit some of the content recorded and captured just before the team departed for Europe, as we wrap the season that has just ended.
Kaizer Chiefs supporters can watch the different segments as put together by the very capable team behind the monthly magazine show.
The first segment will be “Meet the Coach”, where the team engages goalkeeper coach Ilyes Mzoughi. We get to know coach Mzoughi on a more personal level, as he shares his life story, his football journey, and what the Club means to him. We see captivating moments where he’s full of energy on the sidelines, cheering the team on, dancing, and always lifting the mood. Some of our keepers also share their comments about the coach.
Another segment sees Thabo Cele take us back to his hometown, KwaMashu, where he put on a community tournament. The event brought together different sports, like football, netball, and others. With strong support from Kaizer Chiefs fans, the tournament was a big success. This segment shows how Thabo is using his profile to make a difference, inspire young people, and give back to the place that shaped him.
We also get to know attacker Tashreeq Morris, both on and off the field. He talks about his childhood, his early days in football, and how he worked his way up in the game. He also shares the emotional story of playing against Kaizer Chiefs while he was still with Ajax Cape Town and now being part of the Club he once faced. It’s a story filled with passion, growth and pride as he reflects on what it means to wear the Kaizer Chiefs jersey.
Going off the field, we follow the players as they took part in the Toyota Driving Experience. The players got behind the wheel, tested out different Toyota vehicles, and shared their thoughts. It was a relaxed and fun-filled day, packed with laughs, reactions, and great moments off the pitch. This segment shows another side of the players, still competitive, but enjoying themselves in a different environment.
The show will premiere at 20:00 on SuperSport’s channel 202. There will be repeats throughout the month of July.
