Malawi call up Mabedi for Cosafa

Malawi hope to give captain Patrick Mabedi his first outing in almost four months on Saturday when they host neighbours Zambia in their Cosafa Castle Cup semifinal.

Mabedi, who plays for South African club Kaizer Chiefs, broke his leg in a Premiership match in April and has not played since.

The other semifinal is between South Africa and Swaziland in Polokwane on August 24.
