Mathoho and Hadebe continue in central defence

Coach Giovanni Solinas was obviously happy with what he saw on Wednesday, when his side easily beat Zanzibar’s Zimamoto 4-0, keeping a clean sheet – he kept Erick Mathoho and Teenage Hadebe as the pair in central defence.

Another who retained his place is Kabelo Mahlasela who had an outstanding game against Zimamoto, scoring his first goal wearing the Gold and Black jersey.

The Kaizer Chiefs coach has otherwise decided to, more or less, keep faith with those that have done duty in recent times, although Bernard Parker is also back in the starting XI.

Chiefs will face Golden Arrows on the road in an Absa Premiership fixture played at KwaMashu’s Princess Magogo Stadium. Kick-off is at 18:00.
