Amakhosi's chances of reaching the final of the Mandela Cup received a major boost with news that midfield workhorse Thabo Mooki and winger Marco Mthembu will be available for the second leg in Tunisia.

Mooki missed the league match against Ajax Cape Town and the Coca-Cola Cup clash against Manning Rangers with an injury he picked against Club Africain in the first leg in Rustenburg.

Mthembu has been out for several weeks with a lung infection but the medical staff has declared him fit for the Tunisia trip.

"This is good news for us," said coach Ertugral. "Mooki has always played a crucial role in the team and his return came at the right time. I am happy that Marco will also be available as his presence will give us balance at the back."

The coach also added that Doctor Khumalo, who inspired Chiefs to a 2-0 win over Africain in the first leg, would also be available for selection. The team leaves on Tuesday and the coach will have 17 players to choose from as he attempts to guide Amakhosi to African glory.

"It's not going to be easy but we have to win this trophy for former president Nelson Mandela," said Ertugral.

Meanwhile, the coach also disclosed that youngster Richard Lishivha could be loaned out in an effort to help him gain regular play. Negotiations are currently underway with prospective teams.
