Amakhosi reserves maintained their unblemished start to the 2025/26 DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) campaign with a well-earned 3-2 away victory over Stellenbosh FC at Idas Valley Sports Ground on Sunday.
Goals from Neo Bohloko, Pheko Phago and Matala Makhubo secured the three points and their second victory of the new season.
They will face TS Galaxy reserves in the third round of the league programme next Sunday, 21 September at the Solomon Mahlangu stadium in KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga, kicking off at 12:20pm.
In the SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL), Chiefs juniors won in three out of the four age-groups in their meeting with Highlands Park at the Village on Sunday.
The U14s won 4-2, the U15s triumphed by 3-0 and the U17s prevailed 1-0. Unfortunately, The U19s were unable to complete a sweep, going down 3-0 to their opponents in the day’s final match.
This Saturday, 20 September, The U14s, U15s and U17s play away to Panorama FC at the Panorama Sports Club – kicking off at 9:00am – while the U19s will be playing their match against Panorama FC the following day, Sunday 21 September, at Sicelo stadium in Meyerton, kicking off at 3:00pm.
