Amakhosi’s youth academy teams put on a football masterclass against their counterparts from Jomo Cosmos in the SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL) at the Village on Saturday.

The U14s began the day with a resounding 6-0 win. This was followed by a 5-2 victory for the U15s. The U17s got in on the bonanza, beating their opponents 4-0 and the U19s completed a highly successful programme with a 6-0 triumph.

In the DStv Diski Challenge, defending champions, Kaizer Chiefs reserves, remain in fourth place after playing to a 1-1 draw against Siwelele, also on Saturday. Amakhosi now have 43 points from 26 matches in the national U23 league, and will face Polokwane City next, on Sunday, 19 April.
