Kaizer Chiefs season ticket holders are already reaping the rewards of their commitment to the Club, with two supporters enjoying unforgettable matchday experiences at FNB Stadium during the Betway Premiership match against Polokwane City.
Khangwelo Masutha, who attended the match with his son, took home the match ball signed by man-of-the-match, Aden McCarthy, while Victor Leeuw, who is originally from Pampierstad in the Northern Cape and now based in Johannesburg, was treated to an exclusive upgrade to the prestigious Presidential Suite. Both prizes were part of the Club’s ongoing initiative to reward season ticket holders with unique benefits throughout the season.
“The atmosphere was fantastic sitting with my son at the Family Zone,” Masutha said with a smile., “I would like to thank Kaizer Chiefs for the opportunity; it was well organised. Together with my son, I am grateful for winning the signed ball. It will be a memory that lives with us, especially my son, for many years.”
For Masutha, the day was about more than just the prize, it was the entire stadium experience. He praised the Family Zone at FNB Stadium, where he was seated, for creating a safe and enjoyable environment for supporters of all ages.
“I want to touch on the Family Zone in particular because it gives families an opportunity to watch games together. Even if you have a child as young as three years old, you know they will be safe. Security is tight. It’s wonderful how well it’s organised, right from the parking; we parked easily and left without difficulty. It’s world class, it’s what we expect from the best teams,” he explained.
For, Leeuw, who together with his friend has been purchasing season tickets for the past three seasons, enjoyed the match in premium comfort, thanks to his Presidential Suite upgrade. “When I got the call that I had been upgraded, I was over the moon, I called my dad who is a big Chiefs fan and other family members to tell them that I will be sitting next to the Motaung family at the game,” he told www.kaizerchiefs.com.
While Leeuw shared his excitement, he also explained his reason for purchasing season tickets. “When the season ticket opportunity presented itself at Chiefs, something that I have seen in different countries overseas, I told myself that I will grab this opportunity because it makes financial sense as you get more for what you are paying for including, additional benefits such as the reward of watching the match at the Presidential suite, and previously having the opportunity to take my dad for a tour at the FNB stadium” he added.
As the season gathers momentum, Masutha encouraged fellow Amakhosi supporters to rally behind the team by purchasing season tickets.
“Let’s go out in numbers and support the team this season. All the Khosi Nation fans need to come out and buy the season tickets. If we want our Club to succeed, we must be right behind them to support them every step of the way. We have many more matches to play so let’s buy the tickets and fill up the stadiums,” he urged.
