Kaizer Chiefs and long-standing insurance partners Hollard opened the fourth KC Insurance store in Port Elizabeth last Wednesday, 26 July, to service thousands of supporters in the Eastern Cape town and its surrounds.

The new store follows the successful openings of the stores at the Alex Mall in Alexandra, Fatima Bhayet Street in Rustenburg’s CBD and Mega City mall in Umlazi, near Durban.

With the fourth store now up and running in PE, the focus shifts to establishing outlets in Johannesburg central, Germiston and Soweto, to complete the plan of having seven new stores before the end of 2017.

The new store is located at Shop 114, Pier 14 Mall, North End in Port Elizabeth. Operating hours run from 8:30 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday and 8:00 to 13:00 on Saturday.

The stores offer insurance-related services as well as exclusively licensed Kaizer Chiefs merchandise at affordable prices.

“A lot of work has gone into the four stores and we are happy that our supporters in four different provinces can enjoy face-to-face service from our friendly staff,” says Kaizer Chiefs Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung. “We urge our supporters to make use of the stores for KC Insurance products and services, whether they are signing up or making a claim.”

Apart from offering face-to-face insurance services, the stores sell some of the exclusively licensed Amakhosi products, including t-shirts, hats, caps, scarfs, blankets and other items that can only be found at the Kaizer Chiefs stores. The store will sell KC Mobile starter packs, provide RICA facilities and sell airtime to patrons.

“The stores are unique in that they carry a selection of limited stock and special offers that are unavailable anywhere else,” Motaung includes. “It truly is a full Kaizer Chiefs Insurance store experience.”

Motaung extended a word of gratitude to Hollard for the partnership in this new venture that will help create jobs opportunities for locals, assist supporters with their insurance needs and help the two brands get closer to their supporters and customers.
