Good news for Amakhosi is the possible return to action of striker Phumlani Mkhize and offensive midfielder Jabu Pule for the Premier League match against Ajax Cape Town at Newlands on Wednesday night.

Pule missed the first leg encounter of the Mandela Cup semifinal against Club Africain with a quad muscle injury. The team doctors said he could be ready for action by Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Mkhize pulled a calf muscle at training last week but he is also expected to be fit by Wednesday.

Sad news however, is that youngster Nhlanhla Mathebula will be out for two weeks with a Achilles tendon. Marco Mthembu, who had a lung infection, will start training in two weeks.

Striker Daniel Matsau, who broke his leg in Saudi Arabia, is off the plasters and could start training in two months.
