After Wednesday night’s match in Bloemfontein, where Amakhosi secured three crucial away points against Marumo Gallants in the Betway Premiership, Kaizer Chiefs will welcome Zambian side, ZESCO United, to the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Sunday afternoon for their TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup clash.

Amakhosi faced ZESCO in Ndola last Sunday on Match-Day 3 of the group stages, earning their first three points in Group D with a solid 1-0 victory. In the other fixture, Egyptian sides Al Masry and Zamalek played to a goalless draw in Egypt.

The two Egyptian clubs will also meet again this weekend in their home country.

At the halfway point, Al Masry lead the group with seven points; Zamalek are second with five point;, Amakhosi sit third with four points, while ZESCO remain bottom without a point.
